This notice describes the current GCC4WD local preview and its inquiry workflow. Public hosting and live shipment services require a further review before launch.
1. Who is responsible
GCC4WD is a Gulf-focused website for JETON EXPRESS SERVICE (HONGKONG) LTD. (“Jeton Express”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers information handled through this website. Contact us at [email protected], marked “Privacy request”, or write to Jeton Express, Wing Shing Industrial Building, 26 Ng Fong St, San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
The current site runs as a local preview. Its inquiry form stores records in the local WordPress installation; it does not automatically email inquiries, transmit them to a carrier or create a booking.
2. Information we collect
- Required inquiry details: origin country/city, destination country and city, shipping service, goods description, contact name and email address. These fields are needed to save and assess your request; the form cannot be submitted without them.
- Optional details: company, phone/WhatsApp number, package count, weight, dimensions, cargo-ready date, requested support and additional notes.
- Record information: inquiry reference, submission time, your permission to be contacted about the inquiry, and any internal status, notes or follow-up date added by authorised staff.
- Technical information: requests necessarily reach the local web server with connection and browser information. Server logs may include IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and errors. The form uses an IP-derived keyed hash for a short-lived rate limit and a keyed hash of submitted fields for duplicate detection.
- Browser draft: route, cargo and support selections may be saved in this tab. Dedicated contact fields, company, additional notes and the consent checkbox are excluded. Anything you type into the goods description is part of that draft.
Do not enter payment card details, passwords, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information. If you provide another person’s information, ensure you are authorised to share it and make this notice available to them.
3. Why information is used
We use inquiry information to understand the requested shipment, assess route and cargo requirements, prepare a response and manage follow-up. In this local preview it also supports testing and reviewing the inquiry workflow. Technical records support security, error diagnosis and prevention of duplicate or excessive submissions.
The contact checkbox relates only to this shipment request. It is not a subscription to advertising. The current site has no newsletter subscription, advertising audience upload or automated credit or eligibility decision.
4. Who can receive or access it
Submitted inquiries are private WordPress records, accessible through authorised accounts with the relevant permissions, and to the people administering the local installation and its backups. Private status does not encrypt the database. No form integration currently forwards these records to email, a CRM, a payment provider or a carrier.
If you separately ask us to arrange a shipment, the necessary details may need to be shared with the agreed carrier, warehouse, customs broker or delivery partner, or with authorities where required. Those live-service arrangements and recipients must be explained when that service is agreed; this form alone does not initiate them.
5. Third-party services and international handling
WhatsApp, email and JetonDock tracking are outbound links. Opening them takes you to another application or service, where that provider’s privacy terms apply. Sending a message there shares information with the chosen provider and recipient. Those services may process data outside your country.
This preview does not establish a production hosting country or an international transfer arrangement. Before public launch or adding service providers, the operator needs to identify hosting locations, recipients and applicable transfer requirements and update this notice. See the Cookie Policy for browser storage.
6. Storage, retention and deletion
- Inquiry records and staff notes: stored in the local WordPress database until manually removed. Automatic deletion and a fixed retention schedule are not configured. A documented schedule and review process must be set before collecting live customer inquiries.
- Drafts: held in session storage. The form accepts a draft for less than 24 hours after its latest save and removes an expired draft when next opened. Successful submission or choosing Discard draft clears it. Closing the tab normally ends session storage, but browser session restoration can retain it.
- Abuse protection: the rate-limit counter has a ten-minute validity period. Expired database entries can remain until WordPress cleanup. The duplicate-detection fingerprint remains with the inquiry even though duplicate matching uses a ten-minute window.
- Exports, logs and backups: downloaded summaries and administrator exports create separate copies. Local backups may contain database records. These are not automatically erased when a live record is removed; their retention and cleanup are managed separately by the site operator.
Request removal using the contact details above. We will consider what is still necessary for handling the request or meeting applicable obligations, and explain any reason for retaining information.
7. Security and your choices
The implementation uses private inquiry records, WordPress permission checks, input validation, request tokens and submission limits. No system can guarantee absolute security. The current local HTTP preview is not a verified production security environment; use sample information when testing.
You may choose not to submit optional information, clear a browser draft or contact us directly. You can ask us to stop further inquiry follow-up. This will not itself erase existing records or affect processing already carried out.
8. Access, correction and concerns
You can request access to or correction of your personal information and ask about use, retention or removal. Email [email protected] with “Privacy request” and, if available, your inquiry reference. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity; do not send identity documents unsolicited.
Requests will be assessed under applicable law, including any applicable response deadlines, exceptions and permitted fees. Depending on the law that applies to you, additional rights may be available. If you remain concerned, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong, or your relevant local regulator.
9. Children and policy changes
This website is intended for business shipment inquiries and is not directed at children. Please contact us if a child has submitted personal information so the record can be reviewed. We will revise this policy when our data practices change and display the updated date here. A material new use of data will require appropriate notice and, where required, permission before that use begins.
