Choose the country, then describe the handover
Start with the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain or Oman. Open a country guide below for preparation questions and related reading, then provide the final receiving city and address requirements for your shipment assessment.
A destination country alone is not a complete delivery instruction. State whether you need a handover at an arrival terminal, a warehouse or another receiving address. Include access, appointment and unloading requirements when known.
Build a destination brief in three steps
- Identify the goods. List the product, quantity and final packages. Mark estimates and mention any special handling needs.
- Identify the receiver. Provide the receiving city, address type and contact responsible for delivery arrangements. State whether an importer or appointed broker is already involved.
- Identify the open questions. List missing product records, unconfirmed packaging or receiving conditions so the relevant party can review them before dispatch.
Use country guidance alongside a shipment review
The guides help you prepare questions; they do not confirm that a particular product can enter a country or that a proposed route is available. Product documentation and destination arrangements must be reviewed for the actual goods. Keep the current supplier records and the appointed parties’ instructions with your shipment brief.
If an order is split between two countries or receiving addresses, make each destination and its quantities explicit. Ask for separate scopes rather than assuming that one delivery quotation covers both handovers.
Next, compare transport options, check the shipping terms guide, or prepare a shipment request. Choosing a destination is the start of the assessment, not a booking.
